Stephen Phillip Nicely, 58, of Pacific Beach died Sunday. He was born in Pacific Beach and was an operating engineer for Hanson Aggregate. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of the San Diego Freedivers.
Survivors include his wife, Lee Nicely; daughter, Simone Sherrard; son, Erik Nicely; brother, Mark Nicely; and one grandchild.
